Reasons to Love Andy Slezak # 43-45

This is one of several posts where a fellow CYTEXONE employee is wearing an article of my clothing. This particular case of clothes swapping is clearly special. When I came in the office this morning-ish, these photos were on the office camera. I can’t remember ever being happier.

Question: What is the thumb doing?

Freeze-Frame

When I’m not air-drumming to The Police, I try and keep the world-at-large informed about the “goings on” of CYTEXONE. The office has been buzzing while we perfect the racks before shipping them to their new homes. These dudes really like this stuff; I can tell you that. They are like teenagers swarming their favorite band with crazy in their eyes. We welcomed a new employee, Angela. She is helping get our books in order. I don’t know her well yet but when I do, you’ll hear all about her. Marcos not only has larger biceps than you, but he is also brainy. This week we congratulated him for becoming CEDIA certified. He had to take a difficult test, and now we can’t give him any crap—he passed and apparently—knows his stuff. Today we had two visitors from CONTROL4 come in. They are named Jim Arnold and Larry Bennett. They were energetic and kind. Dandrew and those two talked and talked and talked about touch screens and whatnot. (Snooze) Now the end of the day is approaching, and we are listening to ‘She Works Hard for her Money,” by Donna Summer and I am waving my arms in the air between every sentence. I leave you with a gift: Yours, Maggie

Proof We Work It

Hello Friends. I would like to invite you behind the curtain so to speak, to take a glance at how things happen over here in our office. We are in the middle of a few sick home automation systems, and now build all the racks for those systems in office. Since we have a sweet storefront in a hip area of Manhattan, we don’t totally have a ton of room. We aren’t in a warehouse yo but we work it out! So after we design the system for a client, and all the contract festivities are taken care of, James orders all the necessary parts. Take a look at how many boxes we got in just one day! Thank you Santa Clause*!

This, is a tall, tall rack dressed in a cardboard suit.
Here is our intern Steve building a rack. Steve is an amazing intern for a variety of reasons. He is super smart, really diligent, he works really hard, and he is cool. I also personally like him because he is quiet. Many of the men here are not as quiet**.
Pictured below is The Sequel, working hard to make his daddy proud. Next time you see him, mention sneakers and watch his eyes light right up!
The Sequel is having a professional bonding moment with our youngster Julian. They tease each other all day, and then shake hands for photos.
Once these racks are built, they will be shipped to their respective new apartments/homes to do magic. The places we are working on now are so totally ill! Apartment living can be positively luxurious. Working it, CYTEXONE *The part of Santa Clause will be played by multiple deliverymen. **Read: Totally not quiet.
